Tourist Attractions in Tasmania


Cradle Mountain  to Lake St Clair National Park
Cradle Mountain, the start of the 65-kilometre Overland Track. The Overland Track travels through the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area to the Lake St Clair National Park revealing spectacular dolerite mountains, near beautiful waterfalls, through a variety of awe inspiring ecosystems and close to Tasmania's highest mountain. Lake St Clair is Australia’s deepest lake that just finishes the walk with another rewarding destination.

Mount Wellington
Mount Wellington is a wonderful backdrop to Hobart comprising great views and walks. Kids would find the walks fun, and it seems to be an exciting walk for everyone. The walk can either be challenging or simple. The simple walk requires little effort and this can be accessed from the bus terminus at the Fern Tree. At most times it snows so just be prepared.
